Painted Chinese famous brand began to apply for the project

On December 21st, China Paint Industry Association held a symposium on the 2008 China Famous Brand Establishment Project in Beijing to discuss the relevant requirements and scope of application of architectural coatings, anti-corrosion coatings, and iron oxide pigments in China in 2008.

According to Yue Wangkun, the Secretary-General of the China Coatings Industry Association, the basic requirements for China's famous brand establishment in 2008 are consistent with the energy of the 17th National Congress of the People's Republic of China for energy conservation, environmental protection, and technological innovation, with emphasis on product technical indicators, industry concentration, and product adoption criteria. He suggested that catalogues and reporting thresholds as well as evaluation technical indicators should be reported at the same time, and the weight of quality weights should also be more and more important to highlight the technical advantages of products. The application of iron oxide pigments should focus on reflecting that the iron oxide industry is an industry that recycles waste and vice resources for comprehensive utilization; anti-corrosion coating applications must focus on reflecting the huge losses and waste caused by corrosion. At present, the world’s annual economic loss due to corrosion is 1,000 billion. Above US$, it is about 6 times the sum of natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, and typhoons. Anti-corrosion coating is the most effective, economical, and most commonly used anti-corrosion method; the application for architectural coatings as a re-evaluation project and the previous declaration requirements are also The key to this difference lies in the fact that environmental protection, technological innovation, and the results achieved since the last time the brand was obtained are accurately reflected.

The delegates reached a consensus on the threshold of the application project, environmental protection requirements, and key technical indicators.
