Rong Shaoyou, vice president of the Yunnan Chemical Industry Association and director of the Chemical Fertilizer Commission, said that low-level phosphate fertilizers are still an important industry for phosphate fertilizers in Yunnan and an important national base. Statistics at the end of 2006 showed that there are 91 low-level phosphate fertilizer companies that have officially obtained production licenses in Yunnan, and the annual industrial output value is more than 2 billion yuan. Among them, there are 11 calcium, magnesium, and phosphate fertilizer companies, with an annual production capacity of 1.34 million tons. In 2006, the actual output was about 600,000 tons (in kind); there were 80 general calcium enterprises with an annual production capacity of 8.86 million tons, and the actual output in 2006 was about 4.8 million tons (in kind the amount).
Li Wenguo, chairman of the Yunnan General Calcium Marketing Consortium and chairman of Yunnan Phosphate Chemical Fertilizer Co-marketing Co., Ltd., believes that small but scattered enterprises, backward technology and equipment, and disorderly competition are still outstanding problems in Yunnan's low-level phosphate fertilizer industry. For a long time, many companies have been surviving on the basis of low profits. Their ability to resist risks has been weak, and economies of scale have failed to manifest themselves.
With the rapid growth of high-concentration phosphate and compound fertilizer companies, Yunnan has adopted high-concentration phosphate and compound fertilizers as the key for provincial transportation, while the traditional low-level phosphate fertilizers have been cut in large numbers year by year. For example, in the mid-1990s, the province had a total of 1.6 million tons of calcium, which has now dropped to hundreds of thousands of tons. Due to the poor access to the province, many Yunnan calcium-adsorption companies are forced to struggle on the edge of life and death.
However, Rong Shaoyou believes that calcium sulphate will continue to exist for a long period of time. It is impossible to ignore the important connotation that Calcium Sulphate will exist for a long time due to the development of high-concentration phosphate and compound fertilizer, and it is necessary to maintain sufficient demand for Calcium for agricultural development. . Practice has proved that Pu calcium still has great market potential and still has strong vitality. Because of its characteristics of adapting to the structure of China's arable land, moderate prices, and the ability to produce low-grade phosphate ore as raw materials, it will coexist with high-concentration phosphate and compound fertilizers for a long period of time in China. Some industry experts also believe that low-level phosphate fertilizer can fully meet the demand for a variety of elements of crops. Among them, S, Ca, Mg, Si and other nutrients contained in superphosphate and calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizers are difficult to substitute for most chemical fertilizers, and they are highly complementary to other varieties of chemical fertilizers, and they balance nutrients in crops. It is of great significance.
Li Wenguo introduced that the deep-rooted problems that currently plague low-level phosphate fertilizer industry have not yet been fundamentally resolved. The serious situation of overcapacity must be adjusted structurally. According to the Yunnan Provincial Economic Commission's requirements for industrial restructuring, in August 2007, 11 Pu-calcium production enterprises jointly established Yunnan Phosphate-based Chemical Fertilizer Co-marketing Co., Ltd. At present, the company is optimizing and upgrading the company under the requirements of “unified market, unified price, unified brand, and unified transportationâ€, aiming to gradually realize the unification of small, scattered, and chaotic small calcium companies in the market. Those companies with large scale and management level are united, with marketing as the link, and solidification and intensive development on the basis of alliance. This is a major step toward the optimization and upgrading of Yunnan Pu-Ca industry structure adjustment. According to another report, according to Yunnan Province's "Superphosphate Industry Access Requirements for Yunnan Province," which was promulgated in 2005, by 2010, general-purpose units with a unit output of 200,000 tons or less per year will be eliminated.
Li Wenguo believes that the establishment of a joint marketing company and the gradual intensification and grouping development through joint marketing are the development trend of the general calcium industry and an attempt to achieve industrial restructuring, which is conducive to the sustainable development of the general calcium industry.
