Minister Hou Fushen of the China Automotive Engineering Society said in a speech at the International Summit Forum on New Energy Vehicles and Battery Energy Saving Technology that a new round of subsidy policy for new energy vehicles is expected to be introduced in early September. The new policy is different for energy-efficient vehicles and new energy vehicles. The subsidies for energy-saving vehicles, especially hybrid buses, may drop significantly.
