During the test drive of urban roads, the AX7 performed well in the low-speed phase and was relatively mediocre after the mid-high speed. Although some media friends reacted to the cockpit with engine noise during manual transmission to mid-to-high speed, most people did not find this problem. It may be due to high engine speed that the engine is still operating at a low speed.

With regard to the handling of the AX7, the factory specially arranged a venue test drive. Through the bumpy roads, wave roads, bilateral bridges, unilateral steep slopes, S-running piles, and full braking after rapid acceleration, the AX7's body stability, passability, structural rigidity, and braking performance are demonstrated. Acceleration and braking have a good grip performance, and the rigid performance of the whole vehicle is also stronger on a steep slope. After the acceleration, the sudden lane change was completed successfully and remained accurate in terms of directional control, which was not easy for a SUV with a ground clearance of 190 mm.
