The Electromechanical Research Institute of Yangzhou University has successfully developed a piston ring CNC lathe that is at the leading level in China, filling the gap in the field of piston ring CNC lathe driven by linear motor in China.
It is reported that the lathe research project was presided over by Professor Wang Longtai from Yangda Electromechanical Research Institute. Tests have shown that the new lathe has a processing efficiency of 2 to 3 times higher than that of a conventional lathe. The project has passed the technical appraisal of Jiangsu Science and Technology Department.
Recently, the lathe has obtained national patents. It is also known that the price of each foreign product is as high as US$620,000, and the price of each lathe is only RMB 250,000. The price/performance advantage is obvious.
