Agilent Technologies Introduces Industry's First High-Speed ​​Serial Pulse Data Generator

Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) has introduced the industry's first high-speed serial pulse data generator with an excitation capability of up to 7 GHz. It will help computer and semiconductor test engineers accurately characterize components developed specifically for the next-generation serial bus used in high-speed transmission systems.

Accurate high-speed excitation is critical to ensuring signal integrity. The new Agilent 81141A enables engineers to perform accurate and reliable physical layer testing for the first time by providing accurate low-jitter signals and full control of the data flow in an enhanced test environment. Its linear delay modulation capability supports fast and ultra-precise jitter tolerance and jitter transfer measurements.

The patterning and sorting capabilities allow the excitation signal to support a full range of digital high speed serial buses.

Linear delay modulation up to 1 GHz to support jitter tolerance testing.
