Of the dozens of projects GRC does each year in the country, transmission design, performance analysis and improvement, and instruments and tools each account for about one-third of the total. In addition to SAIC's own branded DCT project, GRC also cooperated with domestic FAW, Dongfeng, Chang'an, Changfeng and other vehicle and transmission manufacturers. After the cooperation with the SAIC DCT project is nearing completion, Wu Li has said that another major domestic project is about to emerge. The performance of GRC's participation in other domestic companies' DCT, Changfeng AMT and other projects in the market will also form a test for GRC's design and testing capabilities.
