Because the ore is subjected to multiple impacts of the hammerhead and the counterattack plate and collision with each other, the ore is continuously cracked, loose and broken along its joint interface. When the crushed ore has a particle size smaller than the gap between the hammer head and the counterattack plate, it is discharged from the lower part of the machine, that is, the broken product.

The hammerhead of the impact crusher is fixedly mounted on the rotor, has a counter-attack device and a large crushing space.
