The project is aimed at all construction starts during the year, and the control project (including the cooperation of Xierong to the tea-bara service section and the Dazhuka old gas station to the Shigatse airport section, with a total length of 76 km and an estimated investment of 7.8 billion yuan) by the Transportation Department project The management center organizes implementation first. At present, the organization and design unit has carried out the excavation work of the middle pile, the red line of the land and the excavation of the boundary line from the Dazhuka old gas station in Shigatse City to the 35 km section of Shigatse Airport. The laying work has been completed. The forest road section will also be completed in the near future.

Zhai Zhichao, staff member of the Planning and Statistics Department of the Shigatse Municipal Transportation Bureau, introduced the construction of the high-grade highway from Lhasa to Shigatse Airport using the "double-owner" model. The project management center of the Autonomous Region Transportation Department is the construction owner. The Shigatse municipal government is the owner of land acquisition, demolition and coordination. It is mainly responsible for future land acquisition, demolition and compensation, as well as coordination work during project construction. The project is expected to start at the end of September.
