On the eve of the Spring Festival, a message from the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association revealed that key projects in the National Science and Technology Support Plan for the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan”—chemical industry ammonia-nitrogen wastewater reduction and resource utilization key technology development and demonstration project research, will start the project declaration. The association will organize technical breakthroughs in four representative industries such as ADC foaming agent, nitrogen fertilizer, pesticides and soda ash. It will break through a number of key technologies within three years and form an industrial demonstration to provide technical support for energy conservation and emission reduction in the chemical industry.
This project is a key common technical problem for ammonia nitrogen wastewater pollution in China's chemical industry and ammonia nitrogen wastewater reduction and resource utilization. It aims to achieve industrial demonstration, relying on the company’s existing industrial production facilities, from the production process and waste water. With regard to end-point management and other aspects, we will carry out research and development of key technologies and technological integration innovations, develop and break through a number of new processes, new technologies and new equipment that will have a major impact on the reduction of ammonia nitrogen wastewater in the chemical industry. In addition, the research topics include: development and application of anaerobic and aerobiological biological nitrogen removal technology for ammonia nitrogenous wastewater, establishment of a 6000 cubic meter/day ammonia nitrogen wastewater treatment demonstration facility, and improvement of the A/O process and dual membrane process for ammonia nitrogen wastewater treatment and Reuse integrated technology development, establish an ammonia nitrogen wastewater treatment and reuse demonstration line of 26,000 m3/day, and improve the integration of aeration biological filter (BAF) and double-membrane combination process to treat ammonia nitrogen wastewater from chemical fertilizers and reuse technology.
