More than three years around the "home"
In the near future on December 27, 2007, the simple three-story steel house next to the Bird's Nest site was under the big character of "Beijing Urban Construction Group's construction of the Bird's Nest Project." They can only rely on workers to adjust their posture and weld in a narrow space for a long time.
Most of the time in the welding of the nests in the summer, the steel plate should be heated to 150 degrees or more. To ensure the welding quality, we must wear thick clothes and bear high temperature baking during the summer when we wear short-sleeved shirts. Welding process is not allowed to be interrupted, otherwise there may be cracks, slag inclusions and other issues, the longest welding process to reach 17 hours, of course, we can replace. In any case, this is a challenge to the welder's skills, physical strength, and sense of responsibility.
