Fox's Cash & Shipping and Wholesale Markets require standardized, large-volume containers and products for all British confectionery retailers. The company requested that these two Glacier products provide durable and attractive packaging media, and were attracted by RPC's newest return design products from Blackburn.
Injection stretch film injection molding containers combine the appearance of traditional candy containers with the benefits of PET - lightweight, shatterproof, easy to handle and have a crystal-like smooth finish, which also ensures that the product exhibits its best characteristics.
It is because of its appearance that Fox has made the decision to change from a PVC container to a PET container. "The trademark image is very important and the RPC Blackburn container shows the characteristics of the product in the best form," explains Tracey Mattock, marketing manager at Fox Candy.
Fox Candy chose the largest model of the 4.7L-RPC Blackburn candy container. The generously-decorated area provides ideal space for the polar bear label that represents Fox. The color-matching caps from RPC Halstead - the blue Glacier Mints and the red Glacier Fruits - provide another way of distinguishing products.
