Anritsu Launches Handheld Cable/Wireless Spectrum Analyzer

Anritsu, a Japanese manufacturer of test and measurement instruments, announced the launch of the S412E wired/wireless spectrum analyzer. The spectrum analyzer is the second-generation solution provided by Anritsu for the installation and maintenance of public safety systems. The test equipment is based on Anritsu's ninth-generation handheld test equipment and is a high-performance signal receiver/spectrum analyzer. It is the world’s most advanced hand-held vector network analyzer, combined with its built-in CW/ P25/NXDN signal generator, the power of the signal generator is adjustable from 5dBm to -120dBm.

The S412E test equipment can be combined with wired/wireless analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal interference testers, channel scanners, received signal strength display (RSSI), AM/FM demodulation, RF power meters, GPS receivers, P25TX signal analysis Instrument, P25RF measurement equipment, P25 frequency analysis equipment and NXDN signal analyzer matching.

High-performance, wired/wireless analyzers with a test frequency range of 2MHz to 1600MHz can be used for wired/wireless scanning systems. Measurements of frequency domain reflectance (FDR) return loss and VSWR can adequately measure the wireless signal transmission system. Its failure measurement distance (DTF) test function can help the device to test areas and line connections that other devices cannot reach, such as dirty signals on the interface, signal line damage, and even underwater signal testing. In addition, the effective test range of its wired/wireless frequency test can be extended to 6GHz.

The FlexCal wideband calibration function helps users to maintain the wired/wireless system without having to calibrate the device multiple times. The RF signal interference function can be automatically calibrated, and multiple measurements of the RF signal under test can be performed and accurate test values can be calculated.

The superior frequency test function demonstrated in the transmission signal measurement can be used to view and adjust the performance of the main RF equipment, including filters, wavelength dividers, transmitters, multi-coupled receivers, and front-end amplifiers. In the transmission signal test, the device is the industry's highest speed with an amazing speed of 850 microseconds per dot.

Users purchase the S412 LMR test system including test cable, antenna, spectrum, interference test function, P25/NXDN modulation signal analyzer/CW/P25, NXDN signal generator, including data analysis software, carrying case, field replaceable reciprocating Rechargeable battery, AC/DC power supply, 12V car cigarette lighter box and user guide. Including the battery, it weighs only 7.6 pounds (OFweek Optical Network Note: about 3.45 kilograms).
