In 2008, Hubei Yihua Group began to enter the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and used the autonomous region's abundant coal, natural gas, raw salt, and limestone mineral resources in Baotou, Ordos, and Wuhai to develop chemical industry. In January of that year, Yihua Group invested RMB 3 billion to establish Inner Mongolia Ordos United Chemical Co., Ltd. The 60/104 large-scale fertilizer project was put into operation in November that year and had an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tons of urea.
In July of the same year, Yihua Group invested 1.3 billion yuan to acquire Inner Mongolia Wulashan Chemical Fertilizer Co., Ltd. With an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 300,000 tons of urea and 300,000 tons of ammonium nitrate products.
Last May, Yihua Group invested 5 billion yuan to acquire the assets of Inner Mongolia Haiji Chlor-Alkali Chemical Co., Ltd. and established Inner Mongolia Yihua Chemical Co., Ltd. In August of the same year, the company started construction of 600,000 tons of calcium carbide, 400,000 tons of caustic soda, 400,000 tons of polyvinyl chloride, 200,000 tons of sodium formate expansion project, and restored the original 150,000 tons of calcium carbide, 60,000 tons of caustic soda, 80,000 tons of poly The production of vinyl chloride plant is now entering the commissioning stage for the company's new project and has been successfully put into operation this month.
Up to now, Yihua Group has invested RMB 9.3 billion in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Jiang Yuanhua said that in the next two years, the company will also invest an additional 8 billion yuan in Inner Mongolia to build an annual output of 3 million tons of tamping coke, 1.2 million tons of coal, 1×300,000 kilowatts of power generation, 200,000 tons of urea projects and a second set of Annual output of 600,000 tons of calcium carbide, 400,000 tons of caustic soda and 400,000 tons of polyvinyl chloride project.
