Xihuashan tungsten mine

The mine is located on the southern slope of the steep mountain group, which continues to extend northward with a series of peaks. The highest elevation of the surface in the mining area is 830m; the lowest elevation is 210m. The veins have an outcrop outcrop and are parallel to the slope. The burial elevation of the vein group increased with the increase of the topography, and the burial depth was not large, but the distance between the vein group and the vein group was larger, and it was divided into three groups: north, middle and south. The northern group is about 30m deep, the middle group is 350m, and the south group is about 200m. The northern group is the highest buried, the middle group is the second, and the south group is the lowest. The north group and the middle group are not far apart, while the middle group and the south group are about 800m apart, the ore strike length is 1000m, and the total width of the three groups of veins is about 2400m.

According to the characteristics of the burial of the deposit, the mine is developed using the main flat (Figure 17-9). The specific scheme is: the main flat is 1800m long, the mouth elevation is 215m, the 3rd flat is 1100m, and the mouth is 431m. The No. 1 auxiliary well is from 215m to 431m; the No. 2 auxiliary shaft is from No. 6 Pingding from 431m to 670. Personnel, equipment and materials are transferred from the No. 1 auxiliary shaft to the No. 2 auxiliary shaft. A total of seven slipping wells were drilled in the whole mine, four in the 215m to 431m section, and three in the 431m stage. Ore discharge phase above 431m to 431m via a downhole slip adit, and then the adit 431m, 215m main slide to put the underground adit, and then transported to the main adit by beneficiation plant receiving bunker.
