A few days ago, Guangqi Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the AQSIQ according to the requirements of the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall, and decided to recall the following vehicles from September 25, 2017, totaling 621,003 vehicles:
(1) The 2014-2016 Accord sedan produced between January 31, 2013 and November 3, 2015, totaling 270,443 vehicles; Â
(II) The 2014-2015 Lingpai sedan produced between January 24, 2013 and September 26, 2015, totaling 350,560 vehicles. Â
Due to the manufacturer's manufacturing reasons, the external conductive liquid may intrude into the plated through hole of the battery sensor substrate and cause a short circuit, which may cause the component to burn out. In extreme cases, the engine compartment may be ignited, posing a safety hazard. Guangqi Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. will replace the battery sensors within the recall range free of charge to eliminate potential safety hazards. Â
