Copper-sulfur mine flotation scheme

There are three common flotation processes:

(1) Priority flotation. Generally float to float the copper and sulfur, for dense massive copper pyrite, often with high basicity (free CaO content of up to 800 ~ 1000g / m 3 pulp) xanthate high amount of large method of suppressing floating of copper Pyrite, whose tailings are pyrite concentrates. (2) Mixed flotation process, copper-sulfur minerals in mixed alkaline flotation in weakly alkaline (free CaO content 100~150g/m 3 ) pulp, mixed concentrate and lime in high alkaline pulp for copper and sulfur separation. For the ore with low sulfur content and easy to float copper minerals, this process is advantageous.

(3) Semi-priority mixing-separation flotation process is to use the selective Z-200 # , ester-105 and other chemicals as the collector of the semi-priority floating copper operation, first floating out the easy-floating copper mineral, Part of the qualified concentrate, and then copper-sulfur mixture - separation flotation. The advantage of this process is that lime is not required to inhibit pyrite, and the high lime amount is prevented from inhibiting the easy-floating copper mineral. When sulfur is selected, a large amount of sulfuric acid is not required to activate the pyrite. The pharmacy and process structure are reasonable, the operation is stable, and the production index is better than the first two processes.

For the difficult selection of copper ore, it is more advantageous to adopt the stage grinding and flotation process, such as re-grinding of coarse concentrate and re-election, mixing and re-grinding, re-separation and flotation, and re-grinding and separate treatment in the mine.
